Mark's Wedding!

We were very much looking forward to another Anderson wedding celebration! Mark and Lisa were getting married! Drew and I traveled back independently since we knew the Cleveland bachelors were going to be running home before the rehearsal dinner.  Traveling with the baby, I flew home Friday morning early. Fortunately, Taylor was heading to the airport early that morning for a conference so I caught a ride from Katie - SCORE.

The night before I stayed up really late to get everything packed and situated for the long trip ahead. Not only did I have to remember everything for Drew and I for both Wisconsin weather and Florida weather, I had to pack strategically and get it all to fit into one suitcase! It was fortunate it took me so long because I noticed an alert on my phone that my 7AM flight was delayed 3+ hours and I was guaranteed to miss my connection. I quickly got on the phone and secured the earlier flight at 6AM. We had a slightly longer layover in Chicago, but we still made it home on time which was perfect!

My mom picked me up in Appleton and we ran a few errands in Green Bay before the rehearsal. Dad and Mom were on babysitting duty for the evening! The rehearsal dinner at Riverview was so nice, and the food was spectacular. I ate so much that my dress barely fit - that was slightly disturbing since I was so proud to be in that dress after having Drew hahah!

The next day, Paul had a full agenda of wedding festivities to attend to since he was standing in the wedding. I ran back to be by parents and get Lyssa situated for her overnight babysitting with Drew!  I was really excited that Lyssa was going to get to spend some time with the Drew man!  He needs to bond with his God mom and learn all about the Packers and the Home of the Hamburger!

We arrived at the wedding just in time for the ceremony - luckily Drew stayed tuned for the ceremony and made faces at Pete and Joe who were sitting behind us. The wedding went off without a hitch. We listened to Kristen and Cousin Drew sing, and were sent off by Bumps who cleverly announced "I now present to you Mark and Jill Anderson"!  It was the perfect send off, Bumps style!

I spent some time with my parents between the ceremony and reception and luckily stuck around for family photos. I had no idea they were going on, and I would have felt terrible if Drew and I would have missed them. Drew had a minor meltdown, so it ended up being just me. We made our way to the reception where we had dinner with Mark and Debbie Bergman, and Kathy's sisters!  It was so nice to catch up with everyone.

After dinner, Paul, John and Erik gave their highly anticipated speech. It mostly went off without a hitch, however a few punch lines were missed - haha! Luckily Dan got the punch line and we giggled the rest of the night about Mark's pants not fitting!  Looks like the boys have a story for your wedding speech Erik!!

Paul and I danced the night away and things started to get a little crazy. I knew something was up when Paul started twirling me and really letting loose. The brothers were having too much fun, but hey, that's what weddings are for!  Thanks for throwing an awesome wedding Mark and Lisa!
