My parents celebrated their 40th Anniversary!! How amazing is that!? Ahh, it makes me so joyous just thinking about it. As many of you know, my parents are awesome. They built such an amazing life together, full of adventure, fun, chance, and love. They have also endured some of the hardest things any couple could fathom, but they are all the stronger for it and continue to fearlessly lead our family. I am obviously partial, because they are my parents, but I truly believe they are the most genuine, thoughtful people and strive everyday to emulate their qualities and joy as a couple.

Paul and I flew home and met back in Green Bay to get the festival started. We decided that it would be the perfect time to get everyone together to celebrate this occasion and had a gathering with everyone from the wedding party and my parents immediate family and friends. We had Whippy chicken and tenderloin tips (aka, amazing food), and great company. It was the perfect dinner celebration. It was another great example of how fortunate we are to have such close friends and family.

I want to thank everyone who came out for the celebration and helped to shower my parents with love and support! Cheers to another 40 years!
